The Kia Niro EV has a practical size and modern features, but, most of all, it has an excellent all-electric powertrain to propel it through the Escondido area. The Niro EV is well-equipped with safety systems and infotainment tech, and it offers a good amount of cargo space. Plus, you don't have to worry about stopping at a gas station when you drive one of Kia's new electric vehicles.

The Niro EV has an estimated range of 253 miles and an efficiency of 113 MPGe. Thanks to its all-electric powertrain, it can provide Temecula drivers with 201 horsepower and has nearly instantaneous torque. The Onboard Power Generator allows you to charge your laptops, mobile devices, electric bikes and more.

The Niro EV is available as the Niro EV Wind and Niro EV Wave, which both come with 10.25-inch digital instrument clusters and 10.25-inch touchscreen displays with built-in GPS navigation. You can quickly locate nearby charging stations or find one further down your route if you're on a long trip out of Oceanside, CA.

If you like the idea of driving a hybrid, consider the 180-horsepower Niro Plug-in Hybrid or the 139-horsepower Niro Hybrid. The hybrid can earn up to 54 mpg combined, and the plug-in hybrid has an all-electric range of 33 miles and an efficiency rating of 108 MPGe combined.

These Niro models are a bit more compact than the Sportage and Sorento hybrid and plug-in hybrid SUVs as well as the new all-electric EV6 SUV. For 2023, Kia has given the Niro EV many upgrades by redesigning the exterior, increasing interior space, improving efficiency and updating the technology.
