All Niro EV models have a front-mounted motor powered by a 64.8-kWh battery and that provides front-wheel drive. The Niro EV produces 201 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque.
The EV6, EV9, and Niro EV all use a single-speed Direct Drive transmission with regenerative braking.

Charging and Driving Range
The EV6 comes standard with a driving range of 206 miles on a single charge. When you plug in your EV6 at home with a Level Two charger, you can recharge the battery from 10 percent to 100 percent in about seven hours and 10 minutes. At a DC fast-charging station, you can charge the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent in 18 minutes.
The EV9 comes standard with a driving range of about 250 miles. You can fully recharge a standard EV9 with a Level Two charger in about six hours and 45 minutes. At a DC fast-charging station, you can recharge the EV9 from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 25 minutes.
The Niro EV has an EPA-estimated driving range of 253 miles. With a Level Two home charging system, you can fully recharge your Niro EV in about seven hours and 30 minutes. Charging the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent at a DC fast-charging center takes about 43 minutes.

Tech Features
The EV6 and EV9 come standard with 12.3-inch dual panoramic displays which include an infotainment touchscreen and a digital gauge display. The Niro EV comes standard with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen. All three models come standard with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
Safety Features
The EV6, EV9, and Niro EV all come standard with Kia Drive Wise Driver Assist Technology. This suite of safety features includes enhanced automatic emergency braking technology with junction turning detection, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, lane keeping & following assist, rear parking sensors, and more.
