EV6 LightÂ
Starting at $42,600
The Light trim level is the entry-level option only available in a handful of states for the 2023 model year. California drivers can purchase the most affordable option and take advantage of the state Clean Vehicle Rebate if the total purchase price stays below $45,000.
The 2023 Kia EV6 Light comes with a 58.0-kilowatt battery, good for up to 232 miles of pure electric range. The rear-wheel drive setup produces 167 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Although the Light provides the shortest range on one charge, it's enough to cover the average driver's needs. However, the EV6 Light is capable of Ultra-Fast DC Charging, so you can recharge in minutes and easily cover longer drives.
An impressive entry-level trim level, the Kia EV6 Light comes generously equipped. Comforts like heated seats, driver's seat memory, and a wireless phone charger are typically reserved for higher luxury trim levels but are part of the standard amenities in the Light. It also comes equipped with the massive 12.3-inch dual panoramic displays with navigation, Kia Connect, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and Kia Drive Wise driver assist technology. Wind: Starting at $48,700
Moving up to the Wind trim level significantly increases the max available range and adds a handful of additional luxury features. The most significant difference from the base Light is the option for rear- or all-wheel drive made possible by dual motors. The battery is a larger 77.4-kilowatt setup that delivers 310 miles of range and 225 horsepower with rear-wheel drive. Choosing all-wheel drive will drop the range to 282 miles but increase the output to 320 horsepower. The more robust battery and motor setup also allows Wind models to come towing-ready with 2,300 pounds of capacity.
Additional comforts include ventilation to go with the heated seats, eight-way power adjustments with a power lumbar support, and vegan leather upholstery for an upgraded interior.
